Matthew M. Kruger, M.D.
Board Certified OphthalmologistMatthew M. Kruger, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship trained specialist in cataract surgery, cornea and laser vision correction. Dr. Kruger has extensive experience in cataract surgery, refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK, corneal transplantation and partial corneal transplantation techniques such as DSAEK, DMEK and DALK. He will be providing his patients with comprehensive eye care using the latest medical and surgical technology and techniques.
Dr. Kruger grew up in the Pacific Northwest before heading to the Northeast where he graduated from Dartmouth College. He was a Presidential Scholar and received the Howard Hughes Grant for undergraduate research at Dartmouth. After graduation, he spent a year volunteering at a medical mission hospital.
Kendra Weiler, O.D.
Medical OptometristKendra Weiler, OD is a residency-trained optometrist who is native to Colorado. She treats and manages various ocular conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye in addition to providing routine and medical care. She also fits specialty contact lenses for conditions like keratoconus.
She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences, and then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University in Oregon. She was active in her education, holding roles as teaching assistants in various courses, serving on the admissions committee, and elected to be President of the Student Association. She also completed her Master’s of Science degree in Vision Science during her time at Pacific and led two mission trips to Tanzania to provide eye care. She has been awarded the Marchon Practice Management Award, is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society, and was awarded Outstanding Graduate from the Alumni Association at Pacific University. Upon graduation, she completed an additional residency program in Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Lebanon VAMC in Pennsylvania.
Anthony F. Kokx, M.D.
Board Certified OphthalmologistAnthony F. Kokx, M.D. is a board certified surgeon experienced with cutting edge cataract surgery including light adjustable lenses, toric and multifocal lens placement as well as Iris reconstruction, refractive surgery (LASIK & PRK), and complex cataract cases. He treats a wide range of medical conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, dry eye disease, and blepharitis. Dr. Kokx is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Kokx was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he attended Michigan State University for both his undergraduate degree as well as his medical degree. After graduating from medical school, he traveled to West Virginia to complete his residency program at West Virginia University Eye Institute.
