Kendra Weiler, O.D.
Kendra Weiler, OD is a residency-trained optometrist who is native to Colorado. She treats and manages various ocular conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye in addition to providing routine and medical care. She also fits specialty contact lenses for conditions like keratoconus.
She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences, and then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University in Oregon. She was active in her education, holding roles as teaching assistants in various courses, serving on the admissions committee, and elected to be President of the Student Association. She also completed her Master’s of Science degree in Vision Science during her time at Pacific and led two mission trips to Tanzania to provide eye care. She has been awarded the Marchon Practice Management Award, is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society, and was awarded Outstanding Graduate from the Alumni Association at Pacific University. Upon graduation, she completed an additional residency program in Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Lebanon VAMC in Pennsylvania.
Since returning to Colorado, Dr. Weiler has worked in an ophthalmology office in Colorado Springs for the last 7 years. She has completed various leadership programs and served as the President of the Southern Colorado Optometric Society. She recently has moved to the Denver area to be closer to family. In her free time, she loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her family. She is excited to join the team at Associates in Eyecare and looks forward to meeting and taking care of new patients.
